剛剛突然想起 Laura Branigan 這個名字 就隨意在 Google 敲下 Shocked 的是, Laura 早已經在2004年8月在睡夢中往生

It was confirmed to OneStor earlier today from Joan Di Tursi Laura’s previous manager that Laura had passed away in her sleep last night Thursday August 26th 2004 of a Brain aneurysm.

不能算很早就接觸她的歌 但一直很喜歡她在1985年 翻唱自Alphaville 1984年推出的成名曲 Forever Young

這也是除了ABC字母歌之外, 第一首可以完整唱完的英文歌 至少給我的感覺, 不像原唱那樣冷冰冰 雖然曾經一度以為 Laura 才是原唱.. 陸續也發現她唱的歌, 不管是 Self Control 還是 How Am I Supposed To Live Without You 略帶沙啞的嗓音, 帶出的感情相對濃郁

anyway, 安息吧, 曾經那樣動人的 Laura
